Howard Public School's History

Established in the year 1986, Howard Public Schools’ main objective is to cater to all round development of the child and is run on sound lines, by a Board of honorary members consisting of Educationalists, Doctors and Engineers. True to the spirit of starting the Institution, it has established its place in the field of education, not only in obtaining 100% result in the Board Examinations, but also as a place of pride to receive education. The school is having experienced and qualified teachers in the respective fields. The school has been following Semester System since 1993.

The school participates and also conducts various Inter School competitions in the field of proficiency, sports, Olympiads etc. To follow and implement interactive teaching and learning, digital classes were introduced from the year 2013. A composite Science Laboratory has been provided for practical teaching. A library with good collections of books, magazines, periodicals and reference books, a separate floor for promoting Art, Dance and music are part and parcel of the School.

Howard Public School relentlessly strives to inculcate qualities like, self discipline, rational thinking, global vision and approach, endurance and perseverance to mould the children into future citizens of the world who can confidently contribute to the creation of a better and a safer world.

We aim to not just impart knowledge to the students, but also to inculcate in them – wisdom, compassion and humanitarian spirit. We have a multi-cultural student population; hence we teach children the importance of tolerance and respecting each other’s culture. Discipline, values and integrity are the very foundation of this school.

The school came into existence with the vision of creating a safe and supportive environment for its students – to provide a perfect balance of academics, sports, artistic and social opportunities.
We focus on developing both, the intellectual as well as corporeal abilities of a student. The activities provide holistic grooming of the student wherein the child is able to explore his true potential. Besides the usual procedural teaching, we steadily upgrade and update our teaching tools and techniques. From interactive teaching methods to a healthy teacher & student relationship, we work around making studies as effortless as possible.

The school encourages all students to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities from dance, art and drama, to a variety of sports, to social work, to environmental conservation activities, (the list goes on). It is important for a child to explore and find their strengths in order to reach their true potential. Whether a child is an introvert or extrovert personality, the aim is to nurture the child into a self-confident individual.

Our mission is to continue to do what we have always done: develop this school and the students with integrity and values; also, to give our students the best opportunities and the best Holistic education. Our vision is to produce conscientious, smart and confident citizens of India who will go out into the world and make us proud!
