Courses of study as laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), of the Government of India, Delhi are strictly adhered to and followed.

The classrooms are very modern, large and airy with proper lighting and provide the most conducive atmosphere for learning.

To achieve the highest levels of academic excellence the school maintains a class-section average strength of just 20 pupils in junior classes and 30 pupils in senior classes.

Rules and Regulations of School

WORKING HOURS

The school commences everyday at 8.45 a.m.with assembly for 15 minutes. The classes will commence from 8.55 a.m.everyday.

School gates will be closed at 8.35 a.m.Those who come late to school will not be allowed into the class without a note from the Principal. A fine of Rs.5/- to Rs.10/- is imposed on such students.

The school works for six days from Monday to Saturday for all classes except for Nursery (Mon to Fri). The school timings are : 8.45 a.m. to 12 Noon for Nursery; 8.45 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. for K.G; 8.45 a.m. to 3.05 p.m. for I and II Classes; 8.45 a.m. to 3.10 p.m. for Classes III to VII and 8.45 a.m. to 3.20 p.m. for Classes VIII to X. There will be 7 periods of 45 minutes duration with a short interval of 10 minutes after 2nd period and a lunch break of 30 min after 4th period everyday.

PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE

Every student shall attend the school before commencement of the assembly. The student has to put in a minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days, failing which, he may not be allowed to attend the annual examination or may be detained in the same class.

Note: Examination days such as Unit Test / Quarterly / Half yearly / Annual Examinations for classes KG to X are not treated as working days as per Board rules.

Any leave shall be obtained with prior permission from the Principal. Absence on account of sickness for two or more than two days should be supported by medical certificate.

Parents are requested to ensure attendance and punctuality of the students to the school. Late coming is recorded in the diary and for three late marks one day’s attendance is lost. if the student is late for three consecutive days, he/she will not be allowed for that day.

DRESS & NEATNESS

Children should attend the school daily in the prescribed uniform. In their own interest, they are advised not to wear Jewellery or carry any valuables. The school will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

ABSENCE & LEAVE

1. As per rule no leave of absence is granted except on written application from the parents or guardian and only for genuine reasons. The leave letter shall be sent to the class teacher on the same day.
2. If a pupil is absent on account of illness or for other reasons, for 2 or more than 2 days, the Principal must be informed and Permission must be taken for the continuation of leave.
3. All pupils are expected to attend the school on the reopening day after the vacation. In case of Absence without previous leave application (mere information will not be sufficient). The pupil’s name is liable to be struck off the rolls.

FEES

The fees shall be paid in four terms:

  • I Term : Payable on or before 30th April
  • II Term : Payable on or before 30th July
  • III Term : Payable on or before 30th October
  • IV Term : Payable on or before 30th January
  • LKG to II Classes Total Year Fee 25,000/- Per Year Admission Fee 5,000/- We Collect 4 Terms Per Term 6250/-
  • III to V Classes Total Year Fee 30,000/- Per Year Admission Fee 5,000/- We Collect 4 Terms Per Term 7500/-
  • VI to X Classes Total Year Fee 35,000/- Per Year Admission Fee 5,000/- We Collect 4 Terms Per Term 8750/-
  • Please ensure to pay the fee in time.
  • Please ensure that the name of your child does not appear in the defaulters list.

A late fee of Rs. 100/- will be collected for 10 days after the prescribed month. Thereafter the name of the student will be stuck off the rolls. If the fee is paid through cheque and in case of cheque bounces a penalty of Rs. 100/- has to be paid and further, cheque payments in such cases are not accepted.

Please note that in case an application for Transfer Certificate is made during the Academic year, the fee pertaining to that term has to be cleared.

No school Leaving Certificate shall be issued until all dues are paid up to date.

Test and Examinations for Classes I to X 2019-20

With reference to circular sent by the CBSE board, it is decided that there will be no more semester system. And the complete syllabus for the entire year will be covered in the Annual Examination.

Scholastic area (Assessment Scheme)

  • Annual Examination for 80 Marks - Pass Mark - 28 Marks.
  • Internal Assessment (School Assessment) 20 Marks - Pass marks 7 Marks
  • It is mandatory that the student scores a minimum of 28 marks out of 80 marks in final examination and a minimum of 7 marks out of 20 marks in the internal examination, failing which, the final result will not be declared.
  • Internal Assessment is for 20 Marks (10 M + 5 M + 5M)
  • Periodic Tests -10Marks.
  • During the Academic year there will be 4 Unit Tests of 50 marks each.
  • There will 3 Term Examinations : Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual Examination.

Note book submission (5 Marks)

Students should complete the class works and home works in neat and legible handwriting and should maintain the books by covering and labeling properly and to be submitted as and when required by the teacher.
This is evaluated by the teacher and marks are awarded i.e. upto 5 marks which will be carried for final assessment.

Subject Enrichment Activities (5 Marks)

  • For languages - English / Hindi / Telugu - Assessment of Speaking and Listening (ASL)
  • For Mathematics and Science-Lab Activities and Projects
  • For Social Science-Map work and projects
  • These activities will be conducted periodically by the concerned subject teachers to assess the students performance and their knowledge
  • An average will be taken and calculated for 5 marks and added for Final Assessment.

Co-scholastic Activities

Grading on a five – points scale (A-E) will be done by the concerned teacher

Discipline

The element of discipline will be graded by the class teacher on a five-point scale (A-E). Which covers the following aspects.

  • AttendanceThe student should be regular and punctual to the school and will be graded for the same, He/She should not absent for petty reasons.
  • BehaviorThe student is expected to behave in a proper manner, inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Sincerity and ValuesThe student will be assessed on sincerity and the values they show case.

For Pre-Primary

  • There will be 3 Terms Examinations.
  • The marks / grades obtained are noted in the Diary / Progress Report.
  • Parents are requested to review the progress Report and the Diary and initiate necessary remedial measures for the improvement of the child.

All the students shall come in regular school uniform during examinations and in time failing which, 5 marks are deducted in the examination.

DEMERITS are awarded to students for non compliance of the rules laid down.

  • Regularity to the school
  • Incomplete Uniform (Belt, Tie, Flaps, I.D. Card etc)
  • Non-Completion of home works / Class works.
  • Mis-Behaviour (in the class & outside the class).
  • Non - Participation in extra curricular activities (Sports / Games & Other Inter & Intra School Competitions)
  • Not maintaning Personal Hygiene (Hair cut, Hair Oil, trimming of nails etc.)

Note: For every 10 demerits obtained by the child, one mark from aggregate in the examinations will be deducted.

PROMOTION

Promotion to next higher class is based on attendance and performance in the examination.
Please Note: A clear pass in Annual as well as Internal Assessment is mandatory.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

It is advised that All students should take part in extra curricular activities including excursion. Which will enhance the team spirit among the children.

CONTACTS

For the all round performance of the student the parents/guardians are requested to meet the teachers as often as possible at least once in a fortnight and attend the parent-teacher meetings, on the notified dates.

Students are to take care of their belongings. The management will not take any responsibility for the loss of the same. Parents shall make arrangements to take back their children who stay back for practice classes for music/dance, extra classes or other activities. Notice of which will be given in advance.

GENERAL

It is the responsibility of the parents to entrust the small children to the class teacher or Ayah everyday in the morning. Small children will not be allowed to leave the school until some responsible person comes to pick them up.

Parents should not send their children having contagious diseases. The problem of lice in the hair of children should be taken care immediately

Fee & other amount to be remitted in the office should not be given to Ayahs, Van Drivers or small children. For any misuse or loss, the school will not be responsible.
