To achieve the highest levels of academic excellence the school maintains a class-section average strength of just 20 pupils in junior classes and 30 pupils in senior classes.

Teaching Methodology

The teaching methodology adapted is holistic. The teachers are trained to give their 100% in the teaching-learning process. Hands on teaching is encouraged to make it easy for the child to understand the concepts.
Not to be left behind, the school uses technology for enriching their learning experience. Digi classes, visual aided learning, educational trips, talks by eminent people of various professions are a part of the learning.

Rules and Regulations of School

WORKING HOURS

The school commences everyday at 8.45 am with assembly for 15 minutes. The classes commence from 9.00 am every day. School gates will be closed at 8.45 am. Those who come late to school will not be allowed to enter the premises till the Assembly gets over. The school works for six days from Monday to Saturday for all classes except for Nursery (Mon to Fri)

Punctuality and Attendance

Every student shall attend the school before commencement of the assembly. The student has to put in a minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days, failing which, he/she may not be promoted to the next class.

Dress and Neatness

Children should attend the school daily in the prescribed uniform. In their own interest they are advised not to wear jewellery or carry any valuables. The school will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

Absence and Leave

As per rule, no leave of absence is granted except on written application from the parents or guardians and that too only for genuine reasons.

Tests and Examinations: For Classes I to X

  • The entire session is divided into Three terms during the year
  • There will be 4 Formative Assessments conducted
  • The FAs will be conducted in the class rooms during the class hours by the concerned subject teachers during or after the completion of each lesson/ concept.
  • In the FAs the students will be assessed in different activities like Quiz, Debate, Group discussions, Dictation, Reading , Writing, Slogan Writing, Story telling, puzzles etc as per the teacher’s decision.
  • The marks of the FAs will be posted in the diary for the reference of the parents.
  • No Retest will be conducted in the FAs missed by the students due to any reason.
  • There will be two Summative Assessment.

For KG

  • There will be 4 unit tests and 2 term examinations.
  • The marks/ grades obtained are noted in the Diary/ Progress Report.
  • Parents are requested to revies the Progress Reportr and the Diary and initiate necessary remedial measures for the improvement of the child.

All the students shall come in regular school uniform at the time of examinations.

Merits/ Demerits are awarded to the students depending upon their

  • Regularity to the school.
  • Uniform (Belt, Tie, Flaps ,I.D. Card etc )
  • Sociability ( how well the child socializes with others)
  • Completion of home works.
  • Behaviour
  • Participation in extra curricular activities ( Sports/ Games and Other Inter and Intra School Competitions)
  • Personal Hygiene (Hair cut, hair oil, trimming of nails etc )

Note: For every 10 demerits obtained by the child , one mark from aggregate in the Summative examinations will be deducted.

Promotion

Promotion to next higher class is based on attendance and performance in the examination.

Contacts

For the all round performance of the students , the parents/ guardians are requested to meet the teachers as often as possible and attend the parent –teacher meetings, on the notified dates.

Results

The aim of the school has always been to achieve 100% results in the board exams, which we have been able to do. Also see that the results of the weak and students with learning difficulties are encouraged to perform better.
