Story Book

The main aim of Story Book is to inculcate among the students a fondness for language and enhance their literary skills.

It encourages the students to become orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence.

Ethnic Edge

Ethnic Edge prepares students to strengthen their personal and social skill while being connected to their cultural roots. The activities taken up help students to improve their organizational, leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Ethnic edge helps the children to see the world through different cultural perspectives, which will enable them to be more open, minded.

Math Zone

Objectives of Math Zone

  • To apply and adopt a variety of problem solving strategies to solve problems.
  • To improve thinking skills.
  • To promote effective mathematical communication
  • To develop positive attitude towards mathematics
  • To develop mathematical knowledge through problem solving in a way that increases students interest and confidence.

Science Mace

Science Mace makes use of the skills and talents of the students which satisfy their instincts and helps in the overall personality development. Science club enhances skills such as experimentation, critical thinking and problem solving techniques.

To understand scientific knowledge through equipment’s, to develop students awareness of and concern for scientific issues in personal, social environmental and technological context.

To promote inquisitiveness among the children and inculcate scientific temperament among them, to encourage, motivate and equip the children in the applications of science and its interface with society.

Heritage & Tourism Mace

Heritage and Tourism Mace boosts India’s image as a destination for Tourism. The aim of the Club is to promote India’s glorious past and cultural diversity. Its aim is also to make younger generation to participate in tourism development activities, encourage travel mentality and promote national integration.

Go Green Mace

Go Green Club was inaugurated on 14th June, 2018. The main objective of Go Green Club:

To spread awareness on the environmental consequences of our actions, help create and promote healthy attitude about nature to inspire students to protect environment through appropriate activities.

Go Green Club hopes to continue to protect mother earth and campaign on ‘Go Green’ initiatives.

Cyber Smart Mace

Cyber Smart Club was inaugurated on 26th June 2018. The program kick started with an introductory speech about the aims, objectives and the proceedings of the club. It has been emphasized why is it necessary to be cyber smart as technology has become part and parcel of our life and also to follow net etiquette to be safe.

Press Mace

Press Club was inaugurated on 27th June 2018

The main purpose of press club is dissemination of news from various quarter of the school.

The club would help build interpersonal skills in its members. Interact with students / teachers in search of information. It creates in member the interest in journalism career.

Sports Mace

The inauguration of the Sports Club was held on 14th August , in the presence of Dr. T S Sashikala, Principal, P.E.T and sports club students. The theme of sports club is MARQUEE, which means PERFORMER. By being a member of Sports Club, the children can be fit and healthy. They also boost up their self esteem, tolerance and team spirit. When students are physically fit, they will improve academically too.

Art Mace

The Art Club was inaugurated on 26th June. The main focus of Art Club is to hone the creativity in children and to enhance the art taught in the class room and to give further opportunities to the child to develop his/her artistic ability. Art Club is an innovate place for students who have a deep passion for the visual arts and excel in them.

Interact Club

After Service to humanity is service to god.

Interact Club is Rotary International’s Service Club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs. Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, and advancing international understanding and goodwill.

Interact clubs organize projects every year, that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.

23rd July– We visited Rahft-e-Aam School situated in Haribowli and distributed 700 long note books to the Government Schools children of classes 6 to 10.

28th July: Distributed Soaps and Water Bottles to Students of Government P.R. Vidyalaya High School – Primary Block, Himayatnagar

25th August – We the Members of Interact Club of Howard Public School on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan visited Spoorthi Orphanage, Dundigal and tied Rakhis to the Children.

15th Sep – The Members of Interact Club of Howard Public School visited ‘Venkat Rao Memorial School’ a Govt. School at old city to distribute Stationery items like pencils, pens, scale, sharpeners, erasers, colour pencils to the school children.

10th, 11th and 12th October – Interactors of Howard Public School took part in RYLA conducted by RC Nizamabad

20th December – Interact Club of Howard Public School on the occasion of Christmas went to Good Samaritans India Old age Home and shelter for the Homeless and distributed blankets.
